FERRO 2026 Terms and Conditions of Participation

These Terms and Conditions set out the requirements that participants must meet in order to take part in FERRO MARI E MONTI 2026 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Event’). By registering for the event, participants are deemed to have accepted the following.

 

Article 1: Event Overview

The Event is a non-competitive cycling event open to all. There are no rankings or prizes.

 

Article 2: Age and Consent Form

Minors under the age of 18 must submit a consent form signed by a parent or guardian.

 

Article 3: Bib, bicycle number and road book

・The event is a stamp rally style event.

・Attach the bib to your back and the bicycle number to the handle.

・Counterfeiting, reproduction or alteration is prohibited. Violations will result in disqualification.

・Collect stamps at checkpoints and present your road book at the finish to receive your certificate of completion.

・Loss of your road book or insufficient number of stamps will prevent the issuance of your certificate of completion.

 

Article 4: Permitted bicycles

・Vintage bicycles (specifications up to the 1980s) and modern models manufactured using similar techniques are permitted.

・Bicycles with carbon frames or electronic gear shifts are only permitted on: Short Route,  Family Route and B.B.BASE Station Ride.

 

Article 5: Participants' obligations
・Participants are responsible for maintaining and checking the condition of their bicycles.
・Carry a puncture repair kit with you.
・We recommend wearing clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
・Obey the rules of the road.
・Respect other participants, staff and volunteers.
・Always wear a helmet or protective headgear.

Article 6: Lighting equipment
・Equip your bicycle with front and rear lights.
・Cyclists cannot start if their lights are not working.

Article 7: Assistance system
・There will be no marshals along the route.
・Non-emergency assistance will not be provided.
・Insurance coverage is limited to the scope of the organiser's policy.

Article 8: Refreshment points
・The opening hours of the refreshment points are specified in the road book.
・Use outside opening hours and the collection of stamps is not permitted. Please manage your time carefully.


Article 9: Handling of Personal Information
・Personal information will be handled securely in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
・It will be used for the purpose of holding the event, notifying participants of future events, and providing related information.

Article 10: Changes to Terms
These terms are subject to change without notice. Please refer to the official website for the latest information.

Article 11: Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
・You may change your route up to 15 days before the event. Any difference in price must be paid in cash on the day of the event; no refunds will be given for differences in price.
Refunds for cancellations
1 March–1 May: refunds minus fees
From 2 May onwards: no refunds (distributed materials will be sent by post)

Additional provisions
These Terms shall come into effect on 1 March 2026.
